monkeybarz is committed to preserving Your right to privacy. monkeybarz does not collect identifying information about You (such as Your name, address, telephone number, or email address) unless You voluntarily submit that information to us through our About Us page, our monkey tale email and newsletter page, or other means.

Contact Us:
The Contact Us page is the primary means of communication with monkeybarz staff for a website visitor. Website visitors may use the Contact Us page to send content suggestions or questions about the Parents, Kids, School areas of the site directly to the our editorial staff. Website visitors may also use this form to ask general questions about the Website or content, submit notification of broken links, communicate privacy concerns, and/or submit praise and/or complaints. All comments are seen by the Editor-in-Chief of monkeybarz who, along with senior staff, handle all content-related issues and will use these comments, for instance, as ideas for generating new content or answering a question in a Q&A section on the site. All technical and operational issues are forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer for handling. As monkeybarz policy is not to respond to visitor email, the Contact Us page does not ask for any personally identifiable information (such as an email address), and the only way personally identifiable information would be collected is if the visitor were to voluntarily type such information into one of the open text fields. MonkeyTails News Email and Newsletter:
The only personally identifiable information that is actively collected by monkeybarz are email and mailing addresses of individuals who opt-in to our Monkeytails news Email and newsletter program. These email and mailing addresses are only used for delivering our monkey tale Email and newsletters. These addresses are not typically viewed by a human being unless there is some problem with the database. Users may remove their email address from our list by unsubscribing at our monkeytails news Email page or sending a letter requesting removal by contacting us at monkeytails@monkeybarz.org.

A Note to Parents
Our Kids section is intended to be a safe resource for children under 13 to find useful, age-appropriate information. Although monkeybarz is a non-commercial, nonprofit, organization, it takes children's privacy very seriously and follows the guidelines of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. monkeybarz does not share or sell the information sent to it, whether by children or anyone else. monkeybarz does not collect any personally identifiable information from children with one exception. To all of its visitors, monkeybarz offers monkey tale Email, which is an opt-in bi-weekly newsletter that informs visitors of new content on the site and important news relative to kids fitness and well-being and monkeytale newsletters emailed or mailed out monthly depending on which offering you choose during opt-in. Visitors may sign up for monkey tale Email and newsletters through a 128-bit encrypted page that collects only an email and mailing address and no other information about the visitor - thus monkeybarz does not know the age of any visitor who enrolls. Our Contact Us page does not ask for any personally identifiable information. Sometimes, children write monkeybarz with a personal question. As stated elsewhere, monkeybarz generally does not answer such questions and does not collect email addresses on the Contact Us form in order to be able to respond.
